[App Review] Music God 04/24/10

Apr 24, 2010 by

Music God by icoderz is an app that analyzes your music tags and shows information about your music library. This app is currently available in the app store for $4.99.
This app? Actually pretty good. It shows stuff about your music library you otherwise would’ve never knew about. Such as how much it costs, how long of a shelf you need for your music library, the weight in tapes, etc. There is a LOOOONG list of what it does all in a nice user friendly interface. In addition, the speed in which it analyzes a library (mine is about 460 songs so it took about 20 seconds) absolutely surprised me.
One if the things it showed me is “Why do you have this song”. Of course, that song was a free iTunes song as I listen to most music I download. But I never bothered to delete them. I did so once then I synced my iPod and it’s like “You have something on your iPod that’s not in your library” crap etc. so I pressed sync or whatever it was and it added all of the songs back. But I digress. This app did impress me. More than iTouchTheTruck that’s for sure.
Graphics weren’t bad but they couldn’t have possibly been good. It’s not a game. Entertainment: Meh? User Interface was STUNNING =). Gameplay: We really should change the categories for different apps. Same goes for addictingness. Definitely props for creativity. The name is a little misleading though…
Graphics: 3.5/5
UI: 5/5
Entertainment: Meh?/5
Gameplay/Purpose: 4.5/5
Addictingness: 3/5
Creativity: 5/5.
Total: 21/25 or 82%.
Next app: Plants vs. Zombies
