[Promo Codes] Hyperbowl

Oct 10, 2010 by

Thank you to Phillip Chu of Technicat for once again, providing us with promo codes for his recently updated app “Hyperbowl” (advertised on right). The app retails on the App Store for $2.99 but we have some promo codes to give away courtesy of him. Be sure to not only thank him for the codes but to also write an honest review of the app on the App Store. Have fun bowling and don’t forget the shoes!

This authorized version of HyperBowl for the iPhone and iPad recreates the arcade feel of the original attraction game that debuted in the Sony Metreon a decade ago. Swipe the screen to push the bowling ball around the diverse worlds of the Classic, Roman, Forest and High Seas lanes. Enjoy the scenery, but remember to head for the pins!

All platforms feature the Classic, Rome, Forest and High Seas lanes. HD platforms (iPad and fourth-generation iPhone and iPod touch devices) run HyperBowl in HD and also include:

* more graphical content in the Rome lane
* a rocking ship in the High Seas lane
* the San Francisco lane

***** Reviews on the Web *****

MacLife lists HyperBowl as one of the Greatest iPhone Apps of 2009 – “Sure, there are a lot of bowling games for the iPhone, but none of them match the legacy that HyperBowl has. The gameplay feels organic, with its beautiful outdoor themed bowling lanes.”

SlapApp says “HyperBowl definitely portrays a retro arcade feel that’s consistent with the original, and offers a uniquely different game-play that other traditional bowling apps simply do not offer.”

HowsMyApp rates HyperBowl 5/5 for Entertainment and Value.
