Amazon response regarding legal debacle over “app store”

Amazon App StoreShortly following Amazon’s opening of their “Appstore,” they were met with a lawsuit from Apple, who has attempted to trademark the term “App Store.”

Today, Amazon has filed a response to Apple’s lawsuit, as reported by Geekwire, and says the lawsuit should be thrown out because “app store” is a generic term.
