Google VideoRecently, Google has decided to postpone its shutdown of its video service Google Video after receiving user complaints in regards to the lack of an export to YouTube feature.

Google engineering manager Mark Dochtermann wrote on the YouTube blog,

Google Video users can rest assured that they won’t be losing any of their content and we are eliminating the April 29 deadline.

We will be working to automatically migrate your Google Videos to YouTube. In the meantime, your videos hosted on Google Video will remain accessible on the web and existing links to Google Videos will remain accessible.

Google Video was Google’s shot at a video streaming service before acquiring YouTube.

Uploads of videos to Google Video had been disabled two years ago.
