Windows Phone Skype on its way
Skype, the world-renouned chat and VoIP client, is going to arrive on the Windows Phone 7 platform, according to Neowin. This was confirmed at the MIX11 conference and had been announced today by VP of Windows Phone Program Management, Joe Belfiore from Microsoft.
Not much in-depth information is available at the moment but a hot topic of discussion in regards to this is video-calling, currently restricted by a lack of a front-facing camera on WP7 devices, may be limited to one-way calls.
Its release is scheduled for fall of this year.
