Verizon dropping unlimited data on July 7

VerizonVerizon, following in the footsteps of AT&T, may be dropping their unlimited data plan for iPhones on July 7.

The unlimited data plan is said to be replaced by the following plans:

  • 2 gigabytes — $30 monthly
  • 5 gigabytes — $50 monthly
  • 10 gigabytes — $80 monthly

If you would like to add tethering to your plan, here are purported prices:

  • 4 gigabytes — $50 monthly
  • 7 gigabytes — $70 monthly
  • 12 gigabytes — $100 monthly
