Apple surpasses Nokia in smartphone sales

Apple has grown its smartphone sales to surpass the phone-giant, Nokia. Nokia has announced that it has sold 16.7 million smartphones in the second quarter of 2011, which is much less that Apple’s 20.3 million. But the second half of the year will be more interesting, because rumours suggest that Apple is going to announce the iPhone 5 in September or October as we are awaiting the release of Nokia’s first Windows Phone.
