Canadian iPhone carrier page updated, new carriers added

From what began as an iPhone monopoly has become fair-game in Canada, as more carriers were added to the iPhone carrier page in Canada.

Previously available only with Rogers and Fido (owned with Rogers), the iPhone 3G brought with it TELUS and Bell. The year after, Virgin Mobile started carrying the iPhone. This year, MTS, SaskTel and Koodo have started carrying the iPhone.

In total, Canadians have a choice of eight carriers with which to buy their iPhone; compare that to AT&T’s monopoly which ended early this year!
