China Telecom prepping for iPhone 4S launch

China Telecom, one of the world’s biggest carriers, with 120 million subscribers, is getting ready to launch the iPhone 4S, after getting the green light from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information, allowing China Telecom and many other carriers, to begin offering the massively popular phone.

With China’s recent Apple-product craze, sales of the iPhone 4S with China Telecom may be hindered by the alarming number of unauthorized iPhone subscriptions (because the phone was previously not available); but even with potentially hindered sales, the iPhone 4S is expected to be a hit in China.
