Microsoft registers naughty domain name

Dec 18, 2011 by

Having recently acquired Skype, Microsoft has purchased the expired domain name SkypeSexFinder (dotcom). Unsurprisingly, however, the domain is not an adult service, but rather, redirects to Bing’s search for ‘skypesexfinder.’

Microsoft’s motives for doing so are unknown, and visiting the domain will display lots of dirty results, but Microsoft is known to do this, with domains such as kinecthalo.com.
